Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and supplies to customers within designated Philadelphia neighborhoods
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, including resolving delivery inquiries
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and timeliness
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and address route challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and local regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time-management skills with punctuality as a core value
- Proficiency using smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
