Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to scan packages and update status in real-time.
- Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and handling of all cargo, respecting fragile items.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to delivery protocols and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety compliance.
- Report any delivery issues, damages, or maintenance needs to dispatch immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Smartphone with data capabilities (Android or iOS) and a willingness to use delivery apps.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills for GPS and safety instructions.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shift times.
