Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every drop-off and pick-up interaction.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after shifts to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and mobile applications to update delivery status in real-time.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Handle package sorting and loading efficiently to maximize delivery capacity.
- Resolve delivery issues and customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone usage.
- Reliable communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in various weather conditions.
