Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Utilize the QuickSwift mobile app to navigate routes and manage delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses in San Jose.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately and process returns if necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle (car, van, or scooter) suitable for delivery.
- Smartphone with a data plan (Android or iOS) and a working camera.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with customers and dispatch.
