Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within San Diego.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure the correct recipient receives items.
- Practice safe driving habits and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized, performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure items arrive in perfect condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any delivery issues or concerns on the spot.
- Log delivery data accurately into the mobile app or GPS tracking system.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no recent DUIs or major violations).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Access to a reliable vehicle (if using personal vehicle) or ability to drive a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Proficiency with a smartphone for navigation and order management apps.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
