Responsibilities
- Transport packages and goods to designated addresses throughout Raleigh and surrounding areas.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital or physical signatures upon completion.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Inspect packages for damage before and after transit to ensure quality control.
- Use mobile applications to track routes and manage delivery status in real-time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle (sedan, SUV, or cargo van) with current insurance and registration.
- Access to a smartphone with a data plan for GPS navigation.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate the Raleigh area efficiently.
- Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
