Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Portland area.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure packages are handled with care during transport.
- Interact professionally and positively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Obtain electronic signatures upon delivery and update the delivery status in real-time.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record and no serious violations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Proficient smartphone skills for navigation, dispatch updates, and customer interaction.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to solve problems on the spot.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs occasionally.
