Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate delivery, including proper handling of fragile items and secure loading of cargo.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues or concerns.
- Complete daily delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and mileage tracking accurately.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and accessing navigation apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate effectively in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
