Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Safely transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Oklahoma City metro area.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling package handling with care and ensuring satisfaction.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained; report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Navigation: Utilize the handheld GPS device and delivery management software to plan efficient routes.
- Documentation: Complete all required paperwork, including delivery logs and incident reports.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A current, valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Vehicle Requirements: Reliable personal transportation to and from the depot.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse customers.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Technology: Basic smartphone proficiency for logging hours and accessing delivery apps.
