Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various destinations within the Oakland area and surrounding regions.
- Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain customer signatures upon completion of the route.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and manage inventory logs accurately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in Georgia.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including early mornings and late afternoons.
- Basic computer skills for logging mileage and managing delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
