Responsibilities
- Timely and safe delivery of packages to residential and commercial locations
- Efficient route optimization using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload vehicles with proper handling procedures
- Collect payments and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year delivery or commercial driving experience
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Background check and drug screening required
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to insured vehicle
