Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated residential and commercial addresses in Minneapolis and the surrounding metro area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the protection of the driver, the vehicle, and the cargo.
- Verify delivery details, handle packages with care, and obtain necessary signatures upon successful delivery.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and answering any customer inquiries.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized to ensure efficiency during routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with the Minneapolis, MN geography and ability to navigate using GPS or mapping applications.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for job management and tracking.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required.
