Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure all items are accounted for before leaving the depot.
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor.
- Obtain electronic signatures or proof of delivery for every shipment.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for local delivery (or willingness to use company vehicle).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Proficiency with smartphones and GPS navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing traffic conditions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
