Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Los Angeles area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure accident-free driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring packages are delivered with care.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to scan packages, update delivery status in real-time, and capture proof of delivery.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately to fleet management.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately and process returns when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior to present a professional image.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major infractions within the last 3 years).
- Current, valid auto insurance.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must possess a reliable smartphone (iOS or Android) with a strong data signal for navigation and app communication.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar areas efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
