Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Navigate Long Beach streets efficiently to ensure timely and secure delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional, friendly, and courteous service to every customer during the handoff of their items.
- Route Management: Utilize our advanced GPS and app technology to plan the most efficient routes and avoid delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your assigned delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in excellent mechanical condition at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all delivery logs, receipts, and digital paperwork required for compliance.
- Asset Protection: Ensure the safety and security of all goods in your care throughout the delivery process.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid California Class C Driver's License is required.
- Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major traffic violations or DUIs within the last 3 years.
- Smartphone Access: A reliable smartphone with data capabilities for navigation and communication.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet delivery windows.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
