Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses in the Chicago metro area.
- Ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally and handling packages with care.
- Utilize a handheld device to scan packages, confirm deliveries, and update the status of orders in real-time.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Report any delivery exceptions or issues to the dispatch team promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle (or use our fleet of company vehicles).
- Smartphone with a data plan (Android or iOS) for navigation and app usage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes using GPS.
- Basic math skills for handling cash or digital transactions if applicable.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
