Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations across Raleigh and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring they are securely fastened and handled with care.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Utilize handheld technology for accurate GPS navigation and digital proof of delivery.
- Prepare daily logs of deliveries and expenses for accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery work (sedan, van, or box truck).
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and digital forms.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
