Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Dallas metropolitan area.
- Ensure timely delivery by following GPS navigation and route planning.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Inspect packages for damage before and after loading to ensure proper handling.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery exceptions promptly.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for real-time order updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
