Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Columbus, TX, and surrounding areas in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring all items are accounted for and undamaged.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures when required, using company handheld devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor at every stop.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is clean and in proper working order.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delivery exceptions immediately to the dispatch team.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Basic computer literacy for operating delivery management software or handheld devices.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for communication and navigation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
