Responsibilities
- Safely Transport Goods: Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial locations within the Colorado Springs area promptly.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to every customer you encounter during your route.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on your vehicle to ensure it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition before and after shifts.
- Route Planning: Optimize your delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, times, and any incidents or damages during your shift.
- Package Handling: Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A clean, valid Class C driver's license is required (CDL not required).
- Driving Record: Must possess a satisfactory driving record with no major infractions or DUIs within the last 3 years.
- Vehicle Access: Must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for cargo transport.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with the public.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
