Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B CDL required) to transport goods to designated locations in and around Fresno, CA.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor as needed.
- Interact professionally with customers, including handling cash/card transactions and resolving minor inquiries.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, electronic logging devices (ELD), and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and inventory.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
