Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver packages and food orders to customers within designated Austin neighborhoods
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value items
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness/maintenance standards
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to minimize delivery times
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse operations during peak hours when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 18 years of age with reliable transportation to/from shift locations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery windows
- Excellent customer service communication and problem-solving abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and tips
