Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries within Oakland city limits using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and GPS tracking for real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and address delivery concerns promptly
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs immediately
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols during all operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes for weather or traffic conditions
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures to ensure package integrity
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery app usage
- Strong time management with punctual delivery history
- Basic English communication skills for customer interactions
- Reliable transportation to/from shift location
- Availability for weekend and evening shifts
