Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to customers throughout Long Beach
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Load/unload packages efficiently while ensuring proper handling and security
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app and phone when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during all delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 18 years of age with reliable transportation to worksite
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling when applicable
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred
