Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes within Nevada/California
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent Nevada Freight Solutions with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must reside within 50 miles of Reno
