Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on long-haul routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and all required paperwork compliance.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered in pristine condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and endorsements where applicable.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
