Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Deliver freight on time to Kansas City metropolitan area destinations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Minimize idle time and optimize fuel efficiency
- Represent Swift with professional conduct at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience with clean MVR
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Kansas City area
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends as needed
