Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain clean, compliant vehicle and DOT documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Track mileage and submit daily trip reports
- Adhere to all FMCSA safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Reliable box truck (2008+ model, under 200k miles)
- Proof of commercial auto liability insurance ($1M+)
- Smartphone with data for ELD and communication
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and customer service skills
