Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all freight is handled with care and arrives in perfect condition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks (ELD) and all required documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold the company’s high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid US passport or state ID.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
