Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated OTR routes between Stockton, CA, and regional distribution centers
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Secure and verify cargo documentation for all shipments
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions
- Complete required paperwork and reporting with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with dedicated route familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Proficient in ELD technology and route navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
