Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver goods on dedicated routes across California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems (ELD) compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Coordinate loading/unloading activities at distribution centers
- Manage required paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with dedicated route preference
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and delivery regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
