Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of driving hours and delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work flexible hours.
- Basic knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation systems.
