Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated routes within the Midwest region
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations with appropriate equipment
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery records using our proprietary system
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Exceptional time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
