Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes within Missouri and surrounding states
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and compliance documentation
- Ensure on-time delivery of freight while adhering to strict delivery schedules and customer requirements
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Uphold all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and DOT compliance standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding shipment status
- Represent Swift Logistics Solutions with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems and basic navigation technology
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform moderate physical tasks
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by delivery schedules
