Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions and concerns with a positive attitude.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery environment.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and reporting.
