The Role:
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to local businesses. We value safety and customer service above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on local delivery routes in and around Chicago.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Obey all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer signatures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Keep the truck clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with local Chicago traffic patterns is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
