Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on local delivery routes within the San Francisco metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and integrity.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and complete all necessary pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interfacing with clients and delivery sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and onboard computers.
