Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on local and regional routes within California.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring the security of freight during transport.
- Prepare and maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and mileage records.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company brand.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is mandatory.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks during loading/unloading.
