Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Texas and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Maintain strict adherence to delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Operate advanced telematics systems for route optimization and tracking
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally at client sites and delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and regulatory standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement procedures
