Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary signatures for all deliveries.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Physical) and Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and documentation.
