Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across Illinois routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team for route optimization
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Illinois roadways and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for vehicle maintenance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
