Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer units to transport goods across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS tracking and route optimization
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork for compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist in loading/unloading when required (no-touch freight available)
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (no violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major preventable accidents
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of cargo securement rules
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends
- Must reside within 50 miles of Denver, OH
- hazmat endorsement preferred
