Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) for local and regional delivery routes within the Phoenix metro area.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including mileage and delivery records.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
