Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local deliveries within San Jose Bay Area
- Load/unload freight with precision and adhere to all safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict delivery time windows and quality standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Physical capability to handle freight up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent communication skills and time management abilities
