Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries within San Francisco Bay Area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure loads per DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues
- Adapt routes using GPS technology to avoid traffic and ensure timely deliveries
- Complete electronic logging and delivery documentation through fleet management systems
- Maintain strict compliance with California and federal transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and fleet management software
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible availability including weekday mornings/afternoons and occasional weekends
