As a part-time driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining our high standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods to designated locations in and around San Diego.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving time and delivery records as required by law.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Participate in remote onboarding and training sessions prior to start date.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with the required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and documentation.
