Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) for local/regional deliveries
- Inspect and maintain vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure DOT compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adapt routes for traffic/weather conditions to meet delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all federal/state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (required)
- 1+ year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with NC roadways
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pass background/drug screening (company policy)
