Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of daily operations, mileage, and delivery status.
- Interact professionally with customers and verify delivery receipts.
- Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding route changes, traffic conditions, or delays.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional geography within the Omaha metropolitan area.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Professional communication skills and a commitment to safety excellence.
