Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries within NYC metro area
- Load/unload freight using manual pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each shipment
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of NYC streets, highways, and delivery zones
- DOT medical certification and valid TWIC card preferred
