Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver cargo to designated customer locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo is protected and within weight limits.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery receipts.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at every stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid US driver's license.
